Version of this project
The BMW Artville on the beach of Knokke (Belgium) was realized with the assembly of two massive wooden structures in CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) panels by Stora Enso. The building will be used as a temporary art and event location and consits also a bar and a restaurant. The modern construction material has an extremely welcome side effect: the healthy climate within wooden structures creates a particularly pleasant indoor environment and has a demonstrably positive effect on the well-being. A total of 440 m³ CLT in visible quality (VI) by Stora Enso was used for this construction project.
