The innovative wooden office building Woodwork in Saint-Denis (France) is characterized by the usage of CLT-massive wood elements by Stora Enso. Our Partner WO2 supervised the construction of the 7-storey Woodwork office on the 2 500 m² land holding and demonstrated its expertise in ecological building for modern workplaces. It includes open, flexible breakout spaces and easy access to vast terraces. CLT’s potential for enhancing internal environments was an essential factor in the choice of the material: the healthy climate within wooden structures creates an enjoyable indoor environment and has a demonstrably positive effect on employees´ well-being. A total of 1 450 m³ CLT by Stora Enso was used for the project. This project was completed in 2021. All together the office building comprises 10 000 m².
