Version of this project
The G3 shopping resort was opened in 2012 in Gerasdorf bei Wien, Austria. At the time of its construction, it was Europe’s largest wooden building site with 6,000 m³ of cross-laminated timber. The contoured roof construction made of CLT is a structural engineering masterpiece. Sustainability was already an important element during the building phase, and the entire Gerasdorf G3 Shopping resort now promotes the concept.
