Version of this project
This is what building with mass timber on a sandbank within a shallow reef of a fragile ecosystem looks like.
The Ritz Carlton Five Star Hotel is made with pre-fabricated, easy-assemble Sylva™ by Stora Enso, sourced selectively and flat packed from PEFC sustainable forests in Europe. The villas are constructed with Sylva CLT Walls and Roofs supplied by Stora Enso. Other CLT elements were supplied by KLH Massivholz GmbH.
Double Helix transparent tool was used to map the timber supply chain and verify the flow of certified timber along the supply chain, tracking it from PEFC-certified European forests to the Indian Ocean island. https://open.sourcemap.com/maps/603cb644f70cf59971dbff97/things
