Italy´s tallest solid timber hotel – Hotel Nautilus – was built a short while ago on the Italian Adriatic coast in Pesaro. Together with architect, Maurizio Gaudenzi, and structural designer, Attilio Marchetti Rossi, the developers were able to build the hotel in a record time of just eight months. A total of 790 m³ CLT by Stora Enso was used in the process. The building has a total height of 27 m and the usable floor space amounts to 2 500 m².
