Version of this project
Choosing only sustainable materials and plant solutions was an important focus for this project because everything in the structure was designed to reflect the eco-sustainable values of the Bellavista Hotel.
The hotel's heating is fueled by Bioenergia Fiemme di Cavalese; using untreated and unused wood such as wood chips, sawmill shavings, and bark. In addition, there is a modern and technological heat pump, powered by photovoltaic panels. The use of local resources also significantly reduced transportation emissions.
Tradition and culture must not necessarily be synonymous with a dated aesthetic: the exciting interplay of grids made with metal parapets and sunshades completely redesigns the hotel's image and gives the main facade an elegant and contemporary character.
The furniture was made with wood from the local Fiemme Valley.
