LIVE LAUGH LEARN is a diagnostic center providing an Austrian-wide point of contact for children, young people and adults with down syndrome. People with down syndrome learn with all their senses and exposed massive wood panels support that holistic learning experience. The cross-laminated timber (CLT) provides a “homely” feeling, and the smell of wood inspires many students, staff and visitors. The pleasant warm indoor climate in winter and the cooling effect in summer is another added benefit of building with CLT.
