INNORENEW Center of Excellence in Izola consists of a hybrid combination of timber, concrete and steel. Company CBD assembled a wooden solid cross-laminated CLT structure. A wooden massive staircase on three levels was assembled outside the building and lowered into the building during installation. The upper part of the complex is completely wooden, making the institute the largest wooden building in Slovenia. A total of 808 m³ CLT by Stora Enso has been used for this building.
