Version of this project
The educational building "Bisous d'Esquimaux inter-company daycare center" in Beauvais (France) is characterized by the usage of CLT-massive wood elements. The project consists of redesigning the existing building and creating a first floor extension to expand the capacity from 38 to 60 children. The challenge was to realize all the work while limiting the crèche's closing time to the two months of the summer vacations. CLT by Stora Enso wooden elements as roof allowed a quick installation. This wooden educational project was completed in 2017 and it comprises of 458 m² in total.
