These wooden flats, Kvarteret Pumpan in Alingsås, Sweden were built entirely with CLT by Stora Enso massive wood elements.

Pumpan is located on Lövskogsgatan in Noltorp and consists of 26 modular rental apartments for young adults. The block was built in the spring of 2019 on behalf of Alingsåshem.

This form of housing was new in Alingsås when completed in 2019  The area used to be a parking lot but is now a residential area with high aesthetic value and high-quality design.

The prefabricated CLT massive wood elements fulfilled all the requirements of statics and building physics, as well as those for heat, moisture, fire, and sound protection. The modern construction material has an extremely welcoming effect and a healthy indoor climate which creates a particularly pleasant indoor environment for the resident's wellbeing.
