The three-story building including the staircase was built entirely with Stora Enso CLT massive wood elements. The prefabricated CLT massive wood elements fulfil all the requirements of statics and building physics, as well as of heat, moisture, fire and sound protection. The house achieved easily the low energy standard (KFW Efficiency House 70) without any special effort and this with a total external wall thickness of 30 cm (CLT + wood fiber insulation + facade panel).
