The seven-storey residential building, Oléa residence, is located in the heart of the reinvented district "Les Pantinoises." To optimize the residents' comfort in the 77 units while preserving a natural setting, Les Pantinoises is part of a bioclimatic design approach. The OLÉA residence has received certification from the Association for the Development of Low Carbon Buildings (BBCA) at the Excellent level in the design phase*.

OLÉA is an example to follow in terms of sustainable development. Designed in a solid wood structure of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) on a plot of 6 130m² composed of two buildings which required 1500m³ of wood to design the floors and walls in CLT. Visible grade CLT was used for the underside of the large balconies and beautiful terraces. A perfect example of commitment to environmental standards in high-quality accommodation.

* BBCA: Association for the Development of Low Carbon Buildings;

The OLÉA residence includes 77 units and covers an area of 6,130 square metres. It has been awarded the Excellent level certification by the Association for the Development of Low Carbon Buildings (BBCA) during its design phase, highlighting its commitment to low-carbon construction.

A significant feature of the OLÉA residence is its use of cross-laminated timber (CLT) for the building’s structure. The project used 1,500 cubic metres of prefabricated Sylva™ CLT Floors and Walls, demonstrating the potential of mass timber in large-scale residential projects. The visible grade CLT used for the balconies and terraces adds both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.

The architectural design was a collaboration between Atelier WOA and Vincent Lavergne Architecture Urbanisme. The main contractor and specialist timber subcontractor, Poulingue Construction, played key roles in the project’s execution. The developer, Woodeum x Pitch, is known for its focus on low carbon building practices, further emphasising the project’s dedication to sustainability.
