Version of this project
Located in Vélizy-Villacoublay, near the Meudon forest of and near the historic city of Versailles, this development is a reference case for modern, sustainable living.
The project comprises two six-storey buildings, housing a total of 66 units, including 26 social housing units. It features two basements and a commercial space, all within a beautifully landscaped park spanning 2,200 m².
Althéa is constructed using 480 cubic metres of prefabricated Sylva™ CLT Walls, Floors and Stairs significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the overall building. The design thoughtfully leaves wood exposed within each dwelling, enhancing the wellbeing of the residents by creating a warm and natural living environment.
