This remarkable structure is placed on top of a hill overlooking a small town. The largest sides of the house measure 17 x 20m. This house is predominantly made with CLT, however also incorporating some steel elements for optimal structure utilization. Two cross laminated timber stories lay on a reinforced masonry cellar. The house is marked by a striking four and a half meter double cantilever. Even more surprising is the fact that the upper and lower cantilever decks are not connected by any structural elements. The structural design and execution of composition timber and steel construction was done by the company CBD.
