Version of this project
In this project in Sesto, South Tyrol a former Tyrolean guest house with 6 holiday apartments from the 1960s was reconstructed into a new home for a young family of five. As the building sits within steep topography, substructural elements were developed in reinforced concrete, while the superstructure was built from prefabricated Cross Laminated Timber from Stora Enso. The outer skin is realized in larch wood strips on a galvanized steel structure.
