Version of this project
A unique weekend refuge was constructed at Thurnberg Reservoir, one of three reservoirs in Kamp Valley, Lower Austria.
The developers opted for a simple design featuring distinct wooden and concrete forms with large open windows.
The building, has a surface area of just 75 m², a black façade, and a gable roof, is inspired by the rural barns and stables in the surrounding area.
The house was built using 25 m³ of visible quality (VI) cross-laminated timber (CLT) by Stora Enso.
